I decided it might be fun to have a ‘Song of the Week’ category! The guys in the office & band will tell you that I live my life constantly by my ‘song of the week’ anyway. Every week we jump in the van, off to another gig, and I’ll subject my fellow musicians to whatever wonderful musical-guilty-secret I may have discovered! And they have to enjoy it (whether they like it or not!)….for the good of the band!!

So, as you can imagine, I thought long and hard about what to have as my ’Song of the Week’ first entry, however I have decided on this tune. I had the pleasure of spending an evening with the AMAZING Michael McDonald last week, and what a lovely guy he was. Not only does he have the greatest soul voice I have ever heard in my life, he’s a fantastic song writer, and is just lovely all round. Therefore I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the prestigious ‘Song of the Week’ position!
